The traditional Chinese herbal recipe Ke Chuan Pian is traditionally used to clear the airways in cases of Feng Han (cold wind) incursion. It is prescribed for breathing problems, which are often accompanied by mucus. It is suitable for conditions where a person cannot breathe properly and often has feelings of shortness of breath. Alternatively, wheezing can be heard. According to Chinese medicine, the cause is a weakening of the Qi of the lungs and the production of excessive mucus. And this is usually due to a weakened Qi of the spleen due to poor eating habits and/or as a result of the invasion of Feng Han (wind cold), which is a synonym for respiratory infectious diseases.
