Ideally, use a soap dish made of wood or ceramics with drainage holes or a grid under the soap and keep it as dry as possible. After washing and putting the soap back on the soap dish, we recommend draining off the excess water from the soap dish so that the soap does not sit in the puddle. This would make it unnecessarily soft and soggy. The normal shelf life of handmade soaps is 1 year from the date of manufacture. Some soap lasts longer, others for a shorter time. It is made by mixing alkali (formerly potash made from wood ash, in modern times lye) with an oil mixture along with other ingredients and then solidifying in a mold. Such soap contains naturally formed glycerin, as well as non-soapy oils, which, together with added ingredients, care and nourish the skin during washing. Unlike commercial, cheap and glycerin soaps, they do not dry out the skin, and in addition, they naturally nourish it thanks to oils, and you will not need body lotions and creams. The main ingredient of Almara Soap soaps are vegetable oils. In all recipes you will find: olive oil, which gives softness and hydration to natural soaps; coconut oil, which adds foam, hardness, bubbles and guarantees washing effects; palm oil, which makes the soap hard and durable. The palm oil used is sustainably sourced and RSPO, halal and kosher certified and meets strict environmental criteria.
